 DSA Academy Learning Objectives - Transient Lodging, Housing
 at a Place of Education, and Social Service Center Establishments

Upon completion of the class students should be able to:

  • Understand the jurisdiction of Federal and State agencies for enforcement of regulations governing the design and construction of transient lodging, housing at a place of education, and social service center establishments.
  • Understand how to analyze and apply the regulations to transient lodging, housing at a place of education, and social service center establishments.
  • Compare the various regulations for transient lodging, housing at a place of education, and social service center establishments and assess the applicability and impact on design and construction.
  • Compare floor plans to understand the differences in the various types of accessible residential dwelling units.
